At KWC Performing Arts we believe all children deserve the opportunity to feel the glow of the spotlight. That is why we have a dedicated scholarship program to help with those experiencing financial hardship. Learn more about our scholarship opportunities and how to apply below.
Financial Need-Based Scholarships & Leadership Scholarships
It is KWC’s desire to provide the benefits of fine arts and leadership education to all kids regardless of their financial situation. Hope Scholarships are awarded for financial need and are not based on talent. Most scholarship families have an average annual gross income of $25,000 or less. Both full and partial scholarships are available.
Medical Need-Based Scholarships
It is KWC’s desire to make available the quality of life benefits of fine arts and leadership training to kids who are, or have a family member who is, undergoing a significant medical crisis that has placed a financial burden on the family. This scholarship is named in memory of a 10 year Resident Company member who battled cancer during his entire tenure at KWC.
Leadership Training Scholarships
Through leadership training, fine arts education, and performance, KWC is building great leaders for our community. We make leadership training available to all kids who are invited on the KidPower Leadership Team. These scholarships are named in memory of a long-time employee of The Scott Theatre, Orange Cunningham.
HOPE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ALL CAMPS & CLASSES: Payment plans for classes and camps are available to any family who prefers to split their payments into installments. No additional payment application is required. The Auto Pay installment is set up in your CampSite account upon registering.
