Spring registration is open! KWC Performing Arts offers several different class options Mondays – Thursdays! There is something for the beginner who wants to explore musical theatre, the advanced student interested in skill-specific study, and anyone in between! All instructors are degreed or performing professionals who love to work with kids. Classes begin January 29!
You have the flexibility to pay for your classes either in full or through our convenient monthly payment plans. Plus, if you’re eligible, our Hope Scholarships offer additional financial support to families in need.
Ages 4 – 6
Storybook Theatre is an adventure into storytelling where children are guided from individual imaginative play to incredible group fun! Our youngest students will explore beloved books focusing on storylines, characters, and putting a story on its feet. Activities include improvisation, storytelling with friends, and character creation. Your child’s language expands, cooperation and observation skills grow, and most of all, there is plenty of laughter!
1st – 3rd Grade
Students will unlock the power of self-expression in this Creative Dramatics class, where vocal, physical, and creative confidence take center stage. Dive into a dynamic journey that cultivates a strong, expressive voice, hones physical presence, and sparks imaginative thinking. Through a blend of engaging exercises, improvisation, and collaborative activities, students will discover the art of storytelling and develop the self-assurance to bring characters and narratives to life.
4th – 6th Grade
Students will unlock their creativity in this dynamic, fun-filled acting class! From boosting vocal and physical confidence to fostering creative expression, this course is a journey into the exciting world of storytelling. Culminating in a final showcase, students will build skills that extend beyond the stage, gaining confidence in communication and teamwork.
1st – 5th Grade
Students will learn the fundamentals of Musical Theatre and dance terminology while learning fun and dynamic group numbers from iconic musicals. We will showcase two fully cast, blocked, and choreographed musical numbers at the end of the semester.
6th – 12th Grade
Tailored for aspiring performers, students delve into character development, scene study, and script analysis, experiencing the magic of both stage and camera acting. From refining nuanced performances to understanding the intricacies of storytelling, this class is a comprehensive journey for budding actors. Join us in honing your craft and mastering the world of characters, both onstage and onscreen.
6th – 12th Grade
KWC is committed to making fine arts and leadership education accessible to all children, no matter their financial background. Our Hope Scholarships, focused on supporting those in financial need rather than talent, ensure opportunities for everyone! We offer both full and partial scholarships to accommodate various needs.
Introducing TCL (Touring Company Level) Classes! The Kids Who Care Touring Company trains together every Tuesday and Thursday – taking acting, singing, and dance classes specifically designed to catapult their skills and grow them as bold artists and leaders. We are thrilled to be opening up these classes on an audition basis to non-Touring Company members! Just as we have a wide range of ages and skill levels in the Touring Company, we also welcome students of all ages and experience levels to audition for TCL classes. Students may audition to take class one day a week or both days, and we will have a section on the audition form to select the classes you are interested in auditioning for. Each TCL Class includes a 30-minute warm-up (4:30 pm -5:00 pm) with the full Touring Company and a 90-minute class (5:00 pm -6:30 pm).

Step into our Touring Company’s Advanced Dance classes, where we offer training in Ballet, Jazz, and Musical Theatre Dance! Open to dancers of all levels, these classes require an audition to ensure you’re placed in the class that best matches your current skill level. Whether you’re steeped in ballet, jazz, or musical theatre, we provide a space for all dancers to thrive and advance their talents!
1st – 12th Grade
Dive into the vibrant world of our Touring Company’s Musical Theatre Vocal Performance classes, available for both Level I and II participants. These classes not only teach advanced musical theatre vocal techniques but also offer the extraordinary opportunity to train alongside our esteemed Touring Company members. An audition is required for class placement, ensuring a perfect fit for your current skill level. No matter if you’re a newer singer or looking to refine your vocal prowess, our classes are designed to foster growth and collaboration, allowing you to share the stage with experienced performers from our Touring Company.
Work side by side with kids of all ages, university students, and theatre professionals. Learn how camp works by getting to serve on a department team while rehearsing a musical; sell snacks, assist at lunch, be a part of the media group, or be on the ticket or security team. By applying to be one of our KidPower Team Members you will receive our KidPower-packed training the week before Camp!
