CHAD R. JUNG

Over the course of his career, Chad R. Jung has designed 300+ productions for opera, theatre, music, and dance around the world. As a teacher and mentor, he is devoted to inspiring the next generation of young leaders and artists.

Resident Lighting Designer for the Fort Worth Opera, Chad has designed a vast repertoire of opera performances, including the critically-acclaimed world premiere of JFK. Additional opera credits include Atlanta Opera, Opéra de Montréal and Opera Australia at the Sydney Opera House.

A founding member of Fort Worth’s Amphibian Stage Productions, Chad’s Leonce and Lena Off-Broadway design was praised by The New York Times as “mesmerizing.” His theatre credits include: Julia Pastrana at the Greenwich St. Theatre, the world premier of A Leopard Complains of Its Spots, and international theatre festivals in Italy and Russia.

Chad R. Jung has also collaborated on a variety of unique projects including Frances Bagley and Tom Orr’s Nabucco installation at the Dallas Museum of Art, many live music performances, and ballet collaborations in more than 40 cities. Find more of his work at chadrjungdesign.com.
